Our Investments in Careers
Congratulations to our 10th Cohort
Evergreen Investments, a real estate services company is passionately committed to making home ownership more achievable, affordable, and more affluent. We define affluence not just as wealth created, but as the surplus that enhances personal financial freedom. For the past six years, our internship program has played a pivotal role in nurturing a new generation of professionals who are not only prepared to face challenges but also to forge careers that tackle complex problems vital to a company’s future.
As we celebrate the completion of our 10th internship cohort, we reflect on the journey of each cohort in Evergreen Investments and how their professional careers were advanced through their involvement with us. Our internship program carefully recruits and selects applicants that would ideally support an Evergreen Investments’ initiative, and recently we decided to promote more roles in STEM and Marketing career paths. As a large percentage of the fastest growing private companies in America operate at the intersection of Technology and Marketing. We sought to support our interns movement towards opportunities that align with growing job functionalities.
During the application process for roles in either Marketing or STEM fields, interns complete assessment and formal interviews to compete for each seat offered. Each cohort differs based on what partnership or recruitment pool that the opportunities are provided to. This current cohort was sourced through our partnership with the CUNY Spring Forward program. For most participants, this program provides their initial professional work experience, which directly correlates with their academic fields of study. We prioritize candidates who are earnest learners—those driven by curiosity and a commitment to continual learning and mastery over simply earning a paycheck post-graduation.
Our interns are encouraged to use the latest technological tools not merely to complete tasks but to foster deeper understanding and innovation. This mindset has led to the success of many interns from non-traditional backgrounds, whose unique experiences have propelled them to strive for and achieve excellence with us and in their future careers.
By melding communication principles with cutting-edge tools, we ensure our interns learn to work more effectively, enhancing both their efficie; cy and their impact. At Evergreen Investments, we understand that while tools may evolve, the principles of effective communication and problem-solving remain timeless. Our interns leave not only with enhanced skills but with a mindset of lifelong learning—ready to embrace new experiences that continue to shape their professional lives.
This commitment to developing the next generation of professionals is not just a part of what we do—it’s a testament to our vision for a future where every professional can contribute meaningfully to the complexities and opportunities of the business landscape.
AI does not have an answer for human ingenuity. Our ability to pull from our diverse experiences, and those we communicate with, to weave a more comprehensive solution is critical to marketing and sales (the engine of every business) and the technology that powers it. The tools will change and evolve with time and lessons learned; the principles are timeless. Lifelong learners recognize that they’re never “out of school” and finished being educated; the journey continues every day that we choose to open our eyes to new experiences and let them teach us something. That said, let’s introduce you to some of our recent interns.

“My name is Dallia Traore, and I am currently attending Baruch College with a major in Marketing. I am also working as a Social Media Intern here at Evergreen Investment Inc. I came to this internship after recently switching my major from Finance to Marketing. As a result, I had little knowledge about marketing or social media.
However, throughout the entire process, I have been amazed by the things I have learned. For example, understanding the Target Market and using Canva, which may appear easy to some people but was challenging for me. I am grateful to Mrs. Cox for her patience and for imparting her knowledge to me. I could not have asked for a better mentor than her. One highlight was receiving a certification from HubSpot after completing their exams under Mrs. Cox’s guidance.
Although I am sad that this internship is coming to an end, I am grateful for the opportunity and for having Mrs. Cox as my mentor.”
